Super super heavy. Very nice.

STAUB makes exceptional cast iron cookware. While a joy to use my 10" cast iron fry pan, it's time to add to the collection a larger pan that will leave appealing sear marks on my steaks. Alas, the Staub Enamelware 12" Square Grill Pan and Press came with a couple of problems. I ordered the Graphite Gray, but received a green pan...a color that's not even carried by Wayfair. The cast iron surface on the inside is covered with scratches, and there is a tiny chip on the press. Customer Service rep Randi came to the rescue. She was helpful and efficient, and expedited shipment of the replacement pan in gray to arrive in 3 days. From my experience, the Customer Service team at Wayfair never fails to deliver stellar service.

I love this pan so much! It not only is amazing at grilling and making paninis, this pan is built to last. It is an heirloom piece that people can use beyond my lifetime. When I think of sustainability, that’s what I look for, and Staub is a brand that never disappoints.

I love this set. The enamel coated cast iron is so easy to use. There is no seasoning required and it makes cleanup so much easier. The matte interior gives superior browning and a great sear. The deep ridges allow for fat to flow away from the food giving great cooking results. The press is hefty giving great pressure and grill marks from both sides.
