This is very nice but the color is a little more cream than expected. The quality is great. I am very happy & I would recommend.

We have been very happy that we saved a wad of money. By using this sink with quartz tile for the kitchen counters instead of installing an undermount sink with solid counters, we still have the same beauty and streamlined look without the huge sting to the pocketbook. We also love that so far, the sink seems to like staying white even after all kinds of red wine and thick, colorful sauces have made their way into the sink. :0)

We bought this for our new home build about 3 yrs. ago, choosing it because we know Kohler is a reputable company with quality products. However, we made a mistake in not researching the different types of sinks—particularly the enamel v porcelain cast iron sinks. We purchased the Whitehaven undermount single-bowl farmhouse kitchen sink model K-6489 right drain, which is enameled, because it looked great and the price was more reasonable than some of the other models. After using it more minimally than average for 2+ yrs., we realized the superficial scratches and dulling of the finish around the right side of the sink where the drain is, which is where we usually run the water. Our cleaning products and water quality are not abrasive or caustic, and we have a vinyl mat in the sink we place metal dishes/utensils. Of course we are disappointed in the amount of damage after 2 yrs. of use. Reading the warranty, we are now aware that either a higher quality of enameled sink or a porcelain sink would have been a better choice. Our concern too is how much more damage will occur following a few more years of use.

I have had this sink for about 3 months. I looks great but it needs to be constantly cleaned. Leave some coffee from breakfast and you are removing stains that afternoon. I have had two Shaw sinks and never had an issue. You would think with all the new coatings they could do better. The lady that answered the phone was pleasant that was nice.

This sink has a hammered look and we were NOT expecting it. We had the plastic cover over the front of the enamel for a few months during renovations, and took it off a few days ago. We didn’t notice the entire front of the sink has a hammered texture to it until we took off the protective plastic. The photos online did not make it seem like this was the sink we were supposed to get. It’s too late now, and now we’re stuck with a sink that I honestly do not like. It looks like the enamel was dripping while drying or something and just shows that it’s poorly made. You can even see it’s smoother at the top of the right side and it just looks awful, I’m pretty upset but like I said, too late now. We’d have to take the entire counter top off and it’s not worth the hassle.
