Love it .

Very dissatisfied with this expensive electric kettle. I've upgraded from older version of KitchenAid kettle thinking this would be an improvement. The exterior is hot to the touch unlike the older version it would be slightly warm to the touch. Not more than a month and there are lime scales on the bottom of this new kettle with "lime reduction" as one of their new features of this kettle.

Dreadful kettle. Lid opener stops working within a month. This is a replacement since the first one lasted about 4 months. The lid opener stops working so you have to try to open the lid with your nail. Dangerous if you are refilling the kettle while it’s still hot. Worst kettle I’ve ever owned (and I’m British so I’ve had many). Do not recommend. Will be asking for another replacement pretty soon as this one has stared to intermittently refuse to open. Disappointed to say the least.

Love this kettle. It’s beautiful, high quality, and works great.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This kettle makes my life better. So glad I bought it. Why, you ask? I'll tell you. It's beautiful, it holds a lot of water, it boils quickly, and — best of all — it chimes to let me know the water has boiled. Total game changer, that last part. I get my cup of tea when I wanted it. I no longer forget about the kettle and change my mind when I remember an hour later. I also love that it's a bright, cheery red accent in my otherwise white-and-stainless kitchen.
