Excellent project, looks beautiful !

Just installed the unit. It looks magnificent and works great. It is not whisper quiet, but not too loud on the lowest setting.

Product is solid and looks and operates perfectly. Very pleased with the appliance. Note, may not be suitable for 8-foot ceilings. We have 8.5-foot ceilings and that is about as low as you want to go unless you modify the product hangers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first experience with an island cooking area. I was uncertain about how to choose a vent hood. I’m so glad I found this product. Its sleek design works well in my space and is very unobtrusive. Since the kitchen is in a basement, and the original kitchen didn’t vent through the ceiling, we weren’t sure if we could vent outside. It was very helpful to find a product that would either filter venting in or vent out. We were able to vent out, so I can’t speak to the filtration. Lighting, fan speeds, and exhaust are all very versatile and function exceptionally well. One side note…my stove is 30” and I couldn’t find a 30” island hood that was as sleek. I worried that 36” would be too large, but it’s not. It works very well in the space.

Easy to install, looks good, it’s definitely powerful. Of course it’s loud on the high fan setting but quiet on low. My only great concern is the non-replaceable LED lights. I guess we won’t be using them much to prolong the life of the unit.
