I ordered just 2 of these because they are non-returnable. They are NOT 3" on center. They are about 3-1/8". They would not fit in our pre-drilled holes that are exactly 3" on center. When I held them up to our previous ones, sure enough, the screw holes are just slightly wider on these. So frustrating! If the description says 3" on center, they should be 3" on center. Or at least allow me to send them back when you misled me with the description. Be careful if you order these. They are beautiful and expensive. But if you have pre-drilled holes that are 3" on center, these will not fit!
