Good quality looks very nice, it's the size I was looking for.

The item arrived, and while it is beautiful, it is defective. I still have not received the replacement part. I certainly expected better quality from the manufacturer, and better service from Perigold on an item at this price point.

It was delivered yesterday but it was broken. What are my options? When I pay close to $200 for a tea pot I would like to have it in one piece.

Lovely teapot

High quality product Made in France. There is no separate porcelain top for the teapot. The top of the teapot is built into the insulated metal cover. To clean it you have to unscrew the top of the cover and remove it. This is not necessary very often because the lid does not get dirty. The felt liner of the metal cover is removeable for washing. The mesh infuser does a good job of keeping tea leaves out of the tea. The insulated cover keeps tea warm. Realistically, it holds 31-32 ounces. It will only hold 33 oz if you fill it to the brim, but then inserting the infuser will make it overflow. All in all, I'm very happy with this purchase.
