Just got it set up -beautiful stove can’t wait to use it!

I really like this range. (Especially the white color!) My reason for only 3 stars is that all the burners burn so hot, even on the lowest setting. I have to use a diffuser to simmer, otherwise the pot will boil away.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall a really nice range. The griddle is handy and warms quickly. My only knock would be the large oven takes a bit of time to get to temp. Having 6 burners and such large oven space makes cooking multiple meals or a large feast a breeze!!

This stove truly has it all. My wife made the decision to choose this model, and I have to say, I was skeptical at first. However, I now fully acknowledge her excellent choice; this stove is a fantastic investment. I can’t help but laugh at how wrong I was!

Replaced older version of same range (ZDP484) after 15/20 years, can comment to the design and features as we have just started using the range today. It is clear there have been cost cutting measures in design and options, however to be fair this range costs about the same as it did 20 years ago. The cost cutting in design can be seen in the cooktop as all burners are on one side, driving less parts less complicated piping, no issues there. Also the burner grates are now single piece whereas previous version had multiple pieces allowing for wok etc, new design allows for wok, just less pieces, no issue here as feature rarely used. The knobs for the cook top and oven have a plastic insert which I am yet undecided about, think those will wear, but as long as replacement inserts are available I suppose its acceptable. I miss the positive detent/click on the oven settings from the previous version, seems a bit of a guessing game as to oven setting with the style, suppose I'll get used to it. Standard items from the old version are now accessories - toe kick, cutting board, griddle cover. Racks in the oven are mixed, previous version had all roller bearing racks (very nice), current version has 1 partial roller bearing rack each side, then the standard metal to metal racks, and the full extension roller bearing racks are now accessories. The cook top burners are the big improvement over the past version, with varying BTUs and styles of burners, looking forward to putting these through their paces. I also like having all 6 burners together, previous version had front/back burners separated by griddle and grille in the center. This caused issues with ability for centering large pots over burner, griddle and grille covers would interfere. All 6 burners together will also make sliding pot/pan off burner to adjacent much easier. Just a note if replacing a ZDP series with C2Y, it seems that some parts are compatible, the griddle cover and cutting board, the toe kick, and I think the roller bearing racks (have yet to try those). These are all accessories now, luckily those parts did not go with the old stove. I am not sure what Haier's position will be on parts, the main reason we replaced the ZDP484 was due to parts issues - w/o parts you can't repair. So I will be ordering the parts (cook top valves) for this stove, and perhaps knob inserts, just to have into the future. I think the ZDP484 had a few more years in it, but without parts we had no choice but to replace. Initial impression is that the stove design is improved but has had cost out. As far as manufacturing goes it seems better fit/finish than previous stove, C2Y was assembled in US, ZDP484 Mexico, and I do see a difference, especially in screw placement and straightness. My only complaint is that the stainless steel finish is brushed in 2 different directions from side to front, creating a visible line, for the price of this stove I would expect better. (Previous version of stove these were 3 separate parts, so was not an issue) If possible, will update this review after using the stove for a length of time. 4/5 stars based on not using beyond 1 day, will update after use.
