I bought this because it was smaller and deeper than my stock pots. It is the perfect size for boiling eggs or potatoes for 2 people without having water splatter all over my ceramic cooktop. It works great for making small batches of soup. It is easy to carry with the 2 side handles and it is easy to pour from. It fits perfectly in my cupboard. Not having a long handle allows me to put it in a smaller space. Being non-stick it is easy to clean and dry. It is a perfect all-purpose sauce pot.
