Best peppermill ever made - period. I have 3 of these. One at home, one at a rental and one as a spare should one of the other two ever decide to either break (I doubt it) or grow legs (at rental) and walk out (more likely than breaking). Peugeot mills are made to last. I guess you don't know how bad your peppermill is until you use a really good one. This thing doesn't clog and grinds pepper corns in a consistent "flow". The adjustments guarantee that if you want a fine grind , you'll find no big pepper chunks in it, but if you want chunks, it will give you that too. The adjustment for coarseness is precise and consistent. I have been using one of these almost daily (unless I'm lazy and don't cook that day!) for about 17 years... the same one, and am as happy with it today as I was on day one.
