A rectangular top, elevated on a stainless steel base with squared legs and central angled supports, opens to expose a storage area for two 20-inch extension leaves. I had high hopes for this as I loved the composition and wanted some color in the hallway. Unfortunately, the print could have been better. This was partly my fault as the original piece is a collage with a combination of encaustic and cut up newspapers which in person would have great depth and luminosity. The print however flattens everything out and loses that quality, which I should have known it would. In addition, the piece has been reduced from it's original size, which is evident when looking at the newspaper clippings.
