This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. -For $500 I would expect the sections of this lamp to fit properly and be the same shade of bronze (see photos). First, the good things. The base of this lamp is very wide and heavy; you're not gong to be knocking this lamp over easily. And the base, pole, and shade are well constructed. The shade is lovely. and the doube bulbs allow you to easily vary the light level. Now, the bad things. The shade needs to be two inches or so longer; as it is, it doesn't completely cover the bulbs I am using (Sylvana LEDs). And no matterhow hard you tighten it down, the shade wobbles like crazy.
