The quality of the materials and the finish were excellent, the craftmanship was a bit off in places. In the attached photo, there was no way to close the gap in the bottom left while keeping the section level. Also, the knee clearance is not up to ADA standards. This desk is beautiful. the working surface is great, and very attractive. The desk is *extremely* sturdy (and heavy). I would recommend having its spot picked out and paying for assembly delivery. Once it is together it is not interested in moving anywhere. (For us - this was the first piece to arrive in a new house/empty room, and it takes two people to budge it).
