With a rustic equestrian flavor, The Tynecastle Writing Desk has a crisscrossed beam-like base reminiscent of rafters in a barn, elevated by chunky feet. Crafted of Poplar Solids and Figured Alder Veneers, the desk is finished in a warm chestnut color. A center drawer with a drop-front allows for keyboard use. Two utility drawers with 3 slots and 2 removable dividers in each drawer. One writing slide and one pencil tray for use in either drawer. Named for the Tynecastle area of Northern England, the 50-piece Tynecastle collection is inspired by the manor homes and equestrian life of the English countryside. Tynecastle combines classic Georgian architectural details with more rustic timber-frame elements and leather accents, creating a ''manor home to tack room'' Hunt Country flavor.

With chic curvy legs and a chunky base, the Prause Gate Leg table is reminiscent of European antiques brought to this country by immigrants during the time of America's westward expansion. This character-filled piece is also practical. Put the drop leaves down for a snug fit next to the sofa, but raise them up to use this piece for an extra tabletop or serving surface. Finished in the dreamy Blue Bonnet, a soft blue accent finish with a rubbed patina and distressing. Taking the next step in creating a Hill Country family of collections, Hooker Furniture has introduced LaGrange. The anthology of a bedroom, living room, dining room, occasional, and home office furniture is inspired by the Hill Country region of Texas, including the town of LaGrange, one of the stops made by the Hooker Furniture design team in search of inspiration. The collection includes heavily distressed oak and hickory surfaces, extensive carving and scrollwork, aged metals, sedimentary stone, and primitive textiles. Each piece has a unique story to tell, while still retaining the authentic American character of the original collection. LaGrange is updated with a fresh new personality, brought to life by four distinctive finishes and modern conveniences for the lifestyles of today.

Subtle contrast can bring a room to life while still preserving the sense of calm that makes a space feel effortless. The Westwood Credenza pairs the soft, natural character of quartered oak veneers with Venetian Dawn silver leaf décor across the door fronts, creating a sophisticated interplay of texture and light. A Polished Limestone finish across the top and sides keeps the palette serene and refined, while a metal base with an X shaped stretcher gives the credenza a clean, architectural foundation. Four doors with touch latches maintain the streamlined appearance, allowing the decorative silver leaf fronts to remain the focus. Behind each pair of doors, an adjustable shelf and two drawers provide flexible storage for everything from dining essentials to media accessories. A ventilated back panel and wire management cutouts discreetly accommodate electronics while helping keep cords organized and out of sight.

Artful furnishings have the ability to turn even a passing space into a memorable part of the home. The Driftwood Hall Chest does exactly that with a distinctive diamond motif across its two wood door fronts, bringing texture, dimension, and architectural interest to its compact silhouette. Natural knots, worm holes, and a dry distressed surface give the wood a sense of age and individuality, while custom round cast knobs add a subtle note of refinement. Three thoughtfully developed finishes allow the design to take on a distinct expression. Buckboard, a light brown finish, captures the quiet warmth of sun faded oak and gives the diamond motif a relaxed elegance. Worn Saddle, a warm brown finish, recalls the burnished beauty of supple leather and hand tooled heirlooms, lending the chest warmth and a sense of history. Burnt Timber, a nuanced black brown finish, introduces a darker, moodier character that accentuates the dimensional door fronts and evokes wood softened through years of time and touch. A self closing drawer provides discreet organization for smaller essentials, while two doors with soft close hinges and magnetic catches reveal a fixed wood shelf for additional storage. Equally compelling in an entryway, hallway, or thoughtfully layered living space, the Driftwood Hall Chest combines practical function with the character of a piece collected for its beauty.
