Artist Jean Kenna was born in Seoul, Korea. She studied illustration at the art center college of Design where she developed her fundamental drawing and painting skills, as well as getting basic knowledge of technical programs. For Jean, art means lots of things. She thinks art is her language and a privilege given to her to express herself. It is also the way that she can communicate with the world in her own unique and personal way. Jean finds her inspiration in small things that make her excited. For example, movies, a lazy day on a beach, and the silence of a rainy day. Although she mostly works on digital media, Jean loves to draw with a pen and markers. She especially likes to draw cityscapes that involve perspective and stories of city life. During the weekends, Jean often goes outside into the city, studies people and buildings around her, and brings them to life in her sketchbook. Jean believes the purpose of an artist’s work is in bringing excitement and happiness into people’s minds. ‘I love to create art that makes your heart warm’.

Artist Mari Urasawa was born in Tokyo, Japan, where various cultures continually crossed paths. She was born into a creative family that appreciated art, music, and philosophy. She enjoys movies, yoga, travel, reading and scuba diving. She studied Fine Arts in college. She was especially interested in Printmaking and liked silkscreen and etching because of the way it combined hand painting and digital looks. “Art is a part of my life and cannot live without. There is no right or wrong about art. It has the freedom to express whatever you feel. I paint what I see, not what it is supposed to look.” She works in mixed Medias and combines both digital and hand-painted works to create her unexpected looks.

Beverly Fuller was born and raised in the city of Los Angeles. As a young girl, she was fascinated with the vast diversity of the world around her. She conveyed that fascination with art and was praised by her teachers as a talented artist. She went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree from Whittier College and a Master of Arts from California State University, Los Angeles. After completing her education, Beverly Fuller spent the next year traveling all across the United States, soaking up inspiration that launched her into a creative journey of becoming a painter. Currently, she resides in Northern California with her husband and two daughters. Every other month, Beverly travels back down to her hometown of Los Angeles to immerse herself in the artistic community and to find her next muse.
