I searched forever for an affordable 6 burner gas stove top. Here it is. Upon first installation we had a few issues. 1st was the smell of gas. Had it checked and there was no leak it is the just the smell of the materials used to make it. It was very strong at first. Next issue was that the burners all were set at max power. We had to contact customer service to get a special tool to adjust the burner flames. So everything was burning even on its lowest setting which is another thing Im not crazy about. This induction cooktop is amazing! I can boil water in under a minute, literally. I also love that it connects to my hood vent and turns the hood on/off automatically. We’ve had a less than average stove for quite some time. It was getting the job done but we didn’t really know what we were missing. This thing is amazing! Isn't porcelain some type of ceramic? I wonder how they turn it into a surface layering for this stove. I think they did a great job. The burners are also pretty solid. Cast iron grate seems hard-wearing. The grates on my old range eventually began to rust, which I doubt would happen to the grates on this one. But, I think it's too black, but that's just me.
