The Couzon company was founded in 1934 by Mr. Jean Couzon. After starting production of stainless steel flatware and hollowware in 1946, the company quickly developed into one of France's undisputed market leaders. The brand "Jean Couzon Orfèvre," adopted in 1971, was soon recognized thanks to clever advertising and fine product quality. In the late seventies and early eighties, the company worked to be at the leading edge of progress—not only technologically but in areas such as sales, advertising, and creation as well. The efforts paid off; by 1986, Couzon had over 700 employees and its products were sold with great success.

Not worth returning. I will no longer shop at wayfair as cost of returning items is 70% of cost. What a flawed business model. Will not shop here anymore.. Araceli. Kennebunk, ME. Thu Feb 26 2026

Super sharp and attractive set.. Nicole. Slatington, PA. Sat Nov 01 2025

Inverted blade serration for a prolonged cutting edge. Inverted serration gives you the smooth cut of a fine edge, the blade that will stay sharp over years of use. This high and low serration distributes blade wear and tear, throughout a two-step process; delaying potential dulling. As the larger teeth wear down on hard ceramic surfaces, the smaller teeth between remain sharp.

I bought these to replace a 10 year old set of Sabatier from bb& beyond. The primary thing I was looking for was non serrated steak knives. These knives are sharp right from the box. I took a piece of printing paper and held it by the edge and used a steak knife to slice it. The knife sliced cleanly through like a razor blade. The rest of the set feel sturdy and with the German steel I feel that this will be a great set. The fact that they tell you the sharpening bevel is also great so there is no guessing when it's time to true up the blades. I feel these knives are a great value for household kitchens.. Anonymous.
