It's really nicely made and put together with wood fittings. It came expertly packed to protect from damage unlike other teak items I ordered from another company. This dining table is made from solid rustic teak. Natural features in the wood such as knots, checking and other imperfections are some of the characteristics that give these tables rustic qualities. A beautiful finish is hand applied. If left uncovered, the finish will start to wear away after a season of use. Once it wears away, exposing unfinished teak to the elements, the furniture will begin to acquire the beautiful gray patina that is typical of untreated teak.
