Yucca Cane is easy to grow and an excellent choice if you're just starting out with houseplants. It produces clusters of rich green sword-like leaves on thick, woody trunks. Over time, yucca cane develops into a bold tree that can reach several feet tall, making it a dramatic houseplant and bold architectural accent. Yucca Cane is an ideal houseplant for any home, apartment, or office. Recent studies prove that keeping plants in your office space makes you more productive. Yucca Cane also makes a great housewarming gift for new homeowners. NASA’s clean air study concluded that houseplants promote better air quality in your home. The study by NASA found that houseplants remove chemical pollutants from the air. All plants help purify the air by removing carbon dioxide and producing oxygen. Here’s a tip: NASA researchers recommend at least one houseplant for every 100 square feet to improve the air quality in your home. Yucca Cane grows best in bright to medium light. Grow Yucca Cane in just about any room of your home. While it tolerates low light, Yucca Cane grows fastest in brighter conditions. Allow the top inch or so of the soil to dry between waterings. If the tips of the leaves of your Yucca Cane turn brown, boost humidity by grouping it with other houseplants. Fertilize Yucca Cane a few times a year, in spring and summer, to keep it healthy. Use a general-purpose fertilizer labeled for houseplant use. Yucca Cane typically doesn't require pruning or shaping to keep its good looks. Remove yellow or faded leaves. Repot your Yucca Cane if it becomes root-bound. A well-draining potting soil mixture is recommended when repotting. Yucca Cane can spend the summer outdoors on a shaded deck or patio. Bring the plant indoors as the weather cools down. Yucca Cane cannot withstand a freeze. Yucca Cane safety: Costa Farms Yucca Cane is not intended for human or animal consumption.
Everything was perfect! The plant is absolutely beautiful! It was packaged with care and arrived in perfect condition! I was supposed to come in a basket, but instead came in a growers pot. Doesn't matter to me because I am going to repot it anyway. So definitely 5 Stars!. Laura. Boynton Beach, FL. 2023-02-26 19:31:57
