Rug & Kilim
Hand-knotted in high-quality wool originating from Turkey between 1890-1900, this antique Oushak rug employs a rare asymmetry in its intricate borders and field design alike, both complemented by a variety of curvilinear beige and salmon pink floral patterns set against a brilliant copper background. The unique orientation of the lotus palmette patterns (widely believed to be a symbol of rebirth) is a striking, unique departure from traditional Oushak pieces, accented by a subtle, rich variation of red and blue colorway highlighting the many intricacies and versatility of this piece in a space.
Originating from Turkey between 1880-1890, this antique Sparta rug enjoys a lightly distressed, hand-knotted wool pile throughout an all-over geometric-floral field design. Framed by a unique series of non-mirrored, wrapping brown flower scrolls and an ornate royal blue middle border with highly stylized imagery, the field design uniquely departs from the gentle, curvilinear patterns of the frame for a more finely woven geometric series of blue and beige lotus palmettes (symbolizing rebirth) within a medallion; further distinguished by deep blue branches and mirrored floral emblems against an abrash copper brown background.

The gray tones of this Shoreline are custom colored using our top Shakti weave that has been overdyed a blue-toned gray. Organic, tonal, textural. Mixed media composition and fine handcrafting elevate this simple and elegant design. Casual luxury in the finest linen, bamboo silk, and wool.
Using viscose rayon from bamboo to create a faux silk look with a rich and lustrous sheen merge with the colors in these stunning rugs. These remarkable hand-knotted rugs combine both the softness and feel of silk with the chic and elegance of today's contemporary styles.
Pasargad NY
Out of Stock
Color Reform Spectrum is the latest manifestation of the iconic series of artistic-dyed rugs from Pasargad. Combining tradition with design innovation, Pasargad works hand in hand with local artisans in a remote, mountainous region of India as each rug is intricately hand-knotted using centuries-old techniques. Harnessing the natural energy of the sun, the rugs are laid to dry, neutralizing them of their original color, then individually overdyed and washed by artisans who use each rug as a canvas for their creative expression. The result is remarkable chromatic compositions that reflect a unique artistic creation, while still retaining the essence of original design - one-of-a-kind works of art reborn through color.
