Phenomenally gorgeous the patchwork rug celebrates centuries of original carpets. This rug is handmade from the fragments of original and old oriental rugs. Original carpets are cut and pieced by modern day artisans into a single pastiche of pattern and color. It is then sheared and finally hand dyed in a full immersion bath of a chosen color. The effect is quite stunning, adding a soft tone to the whole rug. Since the original dyes in the design blend with the overcast, each piece is gifted with its own unique and one-of-a-kind look.
