Hand-carved of sese wood in the shape of an eye, this African mask is designed by Theophilus Anum of Ghana. The wall mask is decorated with beads of recycled glass at the top, and hand-painted with black and white zebra stripes across its length.
Shaped like an elongated almond, this African Rhinoceros Spirit Mask is elegant and beautiful. The artisan carves the piece from sese wood and paints it by hand. Parallel lines form a headdress, and a mighty African rhinoceros marches across the forehead. Embossed on aluminum sheets, rich textures cover the features.
