Individual pieces of glass are hand cut and placed over a welded metal frame on different elevations to create a 3D dynamic and harmonious composition. Each piece is hand created by the artist Karo Martirosyan in his studio in Los Angeles. With a background in architecture, the artist is influenced by the majestic power of nature, helping him build the structures, and using balance and color while imagining the story he wants to tell. The rear steel structure is primed and powder coated for maximum durability and all of the colors are baked inside each sheet of glass. Each piece is unique; slight variations in coloration and patterning will occur.

The cosmos is a vast expanse of mystery and wonder. Every time I gaze upon the night sky I wonder what’s beyond it? What’s beyond the stars, beyond the planets - beyond all of it. Endless possibility. Cosmos is my interpretation of the stars and what might lie beyond them. Glimmers of gold bring this 3D wall sculpture to life, as they break through the swirls of brown all around.

The definition of triangulation is the tracing and measurement of a network of triangles to determine the distances and relative positions of each triangle in the network. Triangulation is a glass and metal wall sculpture that allows the viewer to create their own survey. I want the viewer to play with the 3d wall sculpture. Let their mind wander, and come back with inspiration. Triangulation is both a study and a meditation.
