Through a deconstructive process, a photograph is broken down into individual aluminum composite tiles which are hand cut and placed over a welded metal frame on different elevations to create a 3D dynamic and harmonious composition. Each piece is hand created by the artist Karo Martirosyan in his studio in Los Angeles. With a background in architecture, the artist is influenced by the majestic power of nature, helping him build the structures, and using balance and color while imagining the story he wants to tell. The rear steel structure is primed and powder coated for maximum durability.
