Made by a group of elderly women who live at the border of Burma and Thailand, the Staghorn coral table lamp is a powerfully textured tan lamp with appendages that mimic the profile of staghorn coral flowing up its columnar body. Each piece is made of ceramic and affixed by hand, shaping a painstaking process in order to mimic the lamp's namesake the lives in the sea.
Honing natural stone in simple shapes is difficult enough, but creating a shape that looks like a gear if seen from above is even harder. This is the case with this table lamp, which was designed by Tom Caldwell. Made from white marble, the table lamp has a modern feel thanks to the clean-lined body sans detailing. The natural linen shade teases out the slightly darker shading in the veining of the stone, which will vary from lamp to lamp.
Meyda Lighting
Clean lines, a curved profile and geometric shapes highlight this precious diamond ring design. This exquisite stained glass shade features seeded frost white art glass, accented with a simple, elegant diamond pattern of beveled glass on a blue/green border. The shade was created with authentic stained glass using Meyda Tiffany's famous copper foil construction process and is complemented with a base finished in mahogany bronze.
