Wedgwood
Sailor's Farewell is the second collaboration between Wedgwood and renowned, award-winning interior designer Kit Kemp, whose style is about whimsical storytelling, color, and imagination. The collection is derived from a fabric she designed for Chelsea Textiles, inspired by a beautiful drawing by John Craxton depicting a sailor's wife waving farewell. Blending Kit's love of craft and simple, lyrical folk art, the sailor's loved one is waving goodbye on a rock with her scarf flying in the wind. As she waves, the witty motifs around each china piece show the sailor's adventures on the high seas, both above and below the waterline. The rust red sails of his sailing ship pass by whales and merfolk fishing, there are two little dogs alone on the high seas, seagulls flying above the lighthouse, and the enticing sight of a house under a palm tree on a faraway desert island. Below is the depths is a frogman, a curious octopus, and the flashing fins of many fish. The delicate pale blue linen finish of the original fabric design is discernible on the tableware with a stronger blue and 22-karat gold hand-applied lining around the rim. The Kit Kemp Sailor's Farewell Dinner plate 10.7" shows the loved one in her yellow dress gazing out at the ocean, while seagulls fly around. Beautifully presented in Wedgwood's signature blue gift box, each piece is made in England, crafted in fine bone china, and finished with 22-karat gold.

Rosenthal
Everything becomes gold: Midas. The playful, baroque Rosenthal shape Sanssouci forms the stage for the Midas decor, which is monochromatic in gold. Patterns with distinctive twigs and leaves are laid on top of each other in layers, shimmering between matt and glossy surfaces and creating an extremely sensual interplay when they meet the porcelain relief. The three-dimensional camouflage decor is named after the mythological king Midas, whom Dionysus had fulfilled a wish: everything he touched turned to gold.

The Michael Aram Pomegranate collection takes its inspiration from one of the most universal and ancient symbols in the world. The fruit has been prized across the globe, across cultures, and across time as a representation of life, rebirth, and renewal as well as fertility and union. I grew up around pomegranates - from their use as natural dyes on the antique rugs I used to crawl on as a baby to an integral ingredient in the food that I love. When I'm at my home in New Delhi, I wake each morning to the taste of fresh-squeezed pomegranate juice. The color, the smell, and the delicate flavor all make it feel like a magical elixir to me.
I loved my small cute plates. They are perfect for appetizer!. Anonymous. . 2023-03-27 17:17:37
The Michael Aram Black Orchid collection was inspired by the powerful sensuality of orchids and the rich ambiance of haute couture "strikingly simple yet full of the most extreme detail. The collection has an almost gothic feeling "opiated, lush, and smoldering "like the dark, velvety atmosphere of a luxurious evening. "There is something so seductive about orchids. In blackened nickel, they are even more sublime, like a woman wearing a black velvet gown floating through a great estate or a glassy urban high-rise. The dark atmosphere of the orchids against the hammered metal is like the afterglow of a beautiful evening."
