The Michael Aram Botanical Leaf collection takes its inspiration from the intricacies of form and texture found in particular types of foliage. Reminiscent of eucalyptus and seagrape, the structure celebrates the twisting branches as much as it does the leaves. "The image of leaves and branches is eternal and has some kind of meaning for almost everyone. For me, the motif conjures a sense of freshness and fragility, while the materials and craftsmanship speak of something more robust, more human."

This is a teacup saucer not an appetizer plate. I would have been spared an inquiry if it was identified correctly online. Having said that, it's lovely. The gray glaze has a texture that contributes to keeping the cup in the center. The pattern around the edge might bother some; it seems to go blurry. To me, it looks like a border.. Lady Whistledown. Vintage romance meets a contemporary perspective as delicate, hand-drawn leaves in our new rich green border this creamy white premium porcelain in an update to our perennial favorite - the Arbor collection. This salad plate offers an heirloom feel that makes sitting down to salads or desserts a real treat.
The Vine collection snatches inspiration from the imagery that floats around classic storytelling. The shapes are immediate and obvious, and yet, impressionistic and lyrical - the way a small child might envisage a story’s scene unfurling before them it conjures a creeping feeling, somehow seeming at once ancient and new. "For me, these vines evoke the overgrown entrance to an enchanted forest. They reference a surreal window to a world of fantasy-flora, and unexpected beauty." - Michael Aram.
