Michael Aram
The Olive Branch collection is one of the best-known and most loved of Michael's motifs. The simple forms create objects that serve wonderfully as stunning individual gifts or an exuberant table setting that decorates an entire moment of your life. The theme itself captures all the most distinctive aspects of Michael's work - narrative strength, deep symbolism, and extraordinary sculptural expression. The olive branch has always held a powerful meaning for me representing both peace and victory. In designing functional objects with natural forms, there is a mingled sense of fragility and intensity. For me, it is like nature spreading through my interior spaces - like a magical olive grove sweetly willing its way into my home.
I love this little bowl. It adds a touch of class and elegance to wherever you put it and whatever you put in it. Mixed metal colors look great together!. Martha. Cocoa Beach, FL. 2024-12-13 18:13:23

The Palace collection explores, through Michael's eyes, the richness of detail and ornament in palaces throughout the world. As a part-time resident of India since 1989, palace architecture has been a steady source of inspiration and this collection pays tribute to the geometry and complexity of Moghul's design. The classically elegant shapes and materials in this collection reflect the arches, finials, carved panels, and ornamentation prevalent in palaces throughout the East. "I wanted to capture the balance between palace and country life in this collection. The delicate, winding cast ivy wraps around faux-bois etched metal elements, offering a romanticized interpretation of a simple life on the farm."

Designed for every meal, the neo-traditional dinnerware collection is durable, beautiful, and versatile. The spiral in the middle is a reminder of the handmade nature of each piece.
The Butterfly Ginkgo collection celebrates the representation of flora as fauna. Michael's fascination with a particular type of ginkgo tree, the Ginkgo Biloba, or "Butterfly Ginkgo", which grows with a double leaf reminiscent of a butterfly's wings, gave rise to a fantasia image of the plant. Executed at the highest level of handcraftsmanship, each piece is rendered in solid brass with etched cocoon-shaped vessels. The pieces in the collection are a tour de force of Indian craft and capture the poetic spirit that is so deeply indicative of Michael's work. "The first time I saw this tree, it looked like it had been completely overtaken by butterflies as if they would all take flight the moment I walked too close or made a noise. The idea that the leaves could evoke the beauty of butterflies was magical to me, like trees that can metamorphose from flora to fauna in the blink of an eye."
Mario Luca Giusti was born in the culturally rich city of Florence, Italy, and spent his early life in the family couture business as head designer for their family footwear company that was founded in 1865. Mario's love for quality design and fashion lead time to his current business designing and producing high-quality acrylic drinkware and serving pieces for everyday outdoor use. In a category that was previously dominated by mundane, poorly designed products, he has interjected a sense of style, fashion, and high quality for the dis-concerning consumer.
The Michael Aram Pomegranate collection takes its inspiration from one of the most universal and ancient symbols in the world. The fruit has been prized across the globe, across cultures, and across time as a representation of life, rebirth, and renewal as well as fertility and union.

Wedgwood
Sailor’s Farewell is the second collaboration between Wedgwood and renowned, award-winning interior designer Kit Kemp, whose style is about whimsical storytelling, color, and imagination. The collection is derived from a fabric she designed for Chelsea Textiles, inspired by a beautiful drawing by John Craxton depicting a sailor’s wife waving farewell. Blending Kit’s love of craft and simple, lyrical folk art, the sailor’s loved one is waving goodbye on a rock with her scarf flying in the wind. As she waves, the witty motifs around each china piece show the sailor’s adventures on the high seas, both above and below the waterline. The rust-red sails of his sailing ship pass by whales and merfolk fishing. There are two little dogs alone on the high seas, seagulls flying above the lighthouse, and the enticing sight of a house under a palm tree on a faraway desert island. Below in the depths is a frogman, a curious octopus, and the flashing fins of many fish. The delicate pale blue linen finish of the original fabric design is discernible on the tableware with a stronger blue and 22-karat gold hand-applied lining around the rim. The Kit Kemp Sailor's Farewell Pasta Bowl 8" allows the light blue fabric-inspired design to shine subtly against the other decorative pieces. Beautifully presented in Wedgwood’s signature blue gift box, each piece is made in England, crafted in fine bone china, and finished with 22-karat gold.
