Really pretty handmade dish! Larger than I anticipated (thought it was the size of a ring dish vs a small bowl).. Dianne. Boston, MA. 2024-06-10 08:14:13

Lunares by Nima Oberoi
The Pod collection is beautifully organic, and simple, yet voluptuous. Claylike and sensual in form, it has a tactile quality. Its popularity lies in its hard-to-find aesthetic that makes it perfect for everyday and special occasions. Handcrafted by skilled artisans and hand enameled to give a porcelain-looking interior, they are ideal for serving cold salads, hot soups, and desserts. Whatever the occasion, the colorful Pod bowls are the go-to dish. Mix and match the red, white, and blue bowls for a 4th of July party, the orange and yellow bowls for Thanksgiving, and the green and red for Christmas dinners. Each of our creations is designed in our San Francisco studio. Master craftsmen using centuries old technique of sand casting create the original mould and skilled artisans hand create every piece, with pride, in our family owned factory.
Golden Rabbit
This 4 oz. Salad Bowl is made of carbon steel coated with a porcelain enamel and trimmed in stainless steel. There will be variations in the shading of colors and pattern formations which are the results of the hand-dipped process. This Salad Dish is created using a traditional handmade production method that has changed very little since the late 18th century. Each piece is hand-dipped and fired at extremely high temperatures causing the steel to contract and fusing the porcelain enamel to the steel, creating a durable, non-porous surface.
With these easy-to-clean, lightweight, hand-crafted enamelware items, you'll be ready to cook, store, and serve your hungry guests with casual sophistication. Elegant blue fish designs swim across the pieces, lending a fantastic retro-vintage feel. These plates are producing a durable design ready to work for your cooking and serving needs well into the future.

Some love stories are so beautiful that they are hard to believe. Like the one between Philipp Rosenthal and his wife Maria. It so happens that the privy councilor was so infatuated with her that he quickly named a porcelain set after her without knowing that it would one day become a best-seller, selling millions of copies. To this day Maria remains one of the most extensive tableware collections with around 100 pieces. Its classic form and the elegant fruit relief around the rim make it a stand-out collection. "Maria" is a classic service that has already become a legend. For generations, it was the porcelain of choice at weddings and other celebrations. The model for its characteristic shape was a silver teapot dating back to around 1815, which company founder Philipp Rosenthal brought back from England and had remade in porcelain in honor of his wife, the French Countess Maria de Bourges.
