The Cutlery cup and saucer. Antique flatware meets modern fine Bone China in this interesting interpretation of tableware. The handle of the cup relinquishes the traditional shape, instead of being replaced with a bent spoon to create a truly unique design. The spoon is finished in 24k gold, delicately hand-painted on for a touch of class. The octagonal shape of this cup adds a chic uniqueness to the occasion, making your warm beverage all the more satisfying—simplicity with a twist from the Cutlery Collection by Twig New York.
Michael Aram
The Michael Aram Pomegranate collection takes its inspiration from one of the most universal and ancient symbols in the world. The fruit has been prized across the globe, across cultures, and across time as a representation of life, rebirth, and renewal as well as fertility and union. I grew up around pomegranates - from their use as natural dyes on the antique rugs I used to crawl on as a baby to an integral ingredient in the food that I love. When I'm at my home in New Delhi, I wake each morning to the taste of fresh-squeezed pomegranate juice. The color, the smell, and the delicate flavor all make it feel like a magical elixir to me.

The Michael Aram Silversmith collection is a homage to the simple beauty of the forger's craft. The texture of hammer tone has been seen for millennia in metal objects, bearing silent testament to each stroke of the hammer. The surface that remains is faceted and meticulous without losing its random and organic feeling. The Silversmith's collection of fine porcelain strives to capture this mystical and timeless motif. The design is also carefully crafted in terms of color and detail to integrate perfectly with any of Michael's other dinnerware patterns. The unified body shapes used in all of the motifs make mixing and matching the patterns a seamless proposition. I have always been mesmerized by the idea that a cold, hard piece of metal could be pushed into any shape. It's a little like magic in a way. There is also a wonderful romance to the fact that each gesture the artist makes becomes immortalized in a single mark, creating a texture that is quite simply breathtaking.
The Butterfly Ginkgo collection celebrates the representation of flora as fauna. Michael's fascination with a particular type of ginkgo tree, the ginkgo Biloba, or "Butterfly ginkgo", which grows with a double leaf reminiscent of a butterfly's wings, gave rise to a fantasia image of the plant. Executed at the highest level of handcraftsmanship, each piece is rendered in solid brass with etched cocoon-shaped vessels. The pieces in the collection are a tour de force of Indian craft and capture the poetic spirit that is so deeply indicative of Michael's work. "The first time I saw this tree, it looked like it had been completely overtaken by butterflies...as if they would all take flight the moment I walked too close or made a noise. The idea that the leaves could evoke the beauty of butterflies was magical to me, like trees that can metamorphose from flora to fauna in the blink of an eye."

Prestige by Wedgwood
This teacup and saucer set features a geometric design inspired by neoclassicism. The delicate blue and creamy-white palette is reminiscent of Wedgwood's Jasperware.
The Michael Aram Palace collection explores, through Michael's eyes, the richness of detail and ornament in palaces throughout the world. As a part-time resident of India since 1989, palace architecture has been a steady source of inspiration and this collection pays tribute to the geometry and complexity of Moghul's design. The classically elegant shapes and materials in this collection reflect the arches, finials, carved panels, and ornamentation prevalent in palaces throughout the East. I like the old saying that every man's home is his palace. This is a collection that brings the grandness and intricacy of palace architecture into your home, in an elegant yet everyday way. The collection is a journey of sorts into the sophisticated world of regal architecture, yet what I love about it is that there is a surprising simplicity to the geometric forms as well as restraint in the tone-on-tone interplay with light and shadow of the surfaces.

This collection is inspired by the joy and wonderment of children. They are objects that may capture their unique excitement at the world around them and our precious memories of them as they experience the world. "There is no greater joy for me than to spend every small moment I can with my young children. Each game of tag, each precious scribble or crooked letter, sweet hugs, and high fives cumulatively are my greatest gifts. In creating gifts for children, I hope to create objects that are enjoyed now and will become keepsakes in years to come."
The Michael Aram Black Orchid collection was inspired by the powerful sensuality of orchids and the rich ambiance of haute couture - strikingly simple yet full of the most extreme detail. The collection has an almost gothic feeling - opiated, lush, and smoldering - like the dark, velvety atmosphere of a luxurious evening. "There is something so seductive about orchids. They are even more sublime in blackened nickel, like a woman wearing a black velvet gown floating through a great estate or a glassy urban high-rise. The dark atmosphere of the orchids against the hammered metal is like the afterglow of a beautiful evening."
MATCH
the elegant cup and saucer set is designed for enjoying a single or doppio espresso while sitting or, al banco as the Italians do, standing at a counter, perhaps while enjoying a biscotti or pastry. This delightfully diminutive 2.5-ounce ceramic cup has a gently flared lip, subtle design details on the handle, and the signature Italian pewter base.
Rosenthal
The TAC collection, an icon of Bauhaus design and developed by Walter Gropius, TAC skin gold is a graphic design in elegant gold. Sophisticated multiple finishing techniques give the flat pieces a fine relief structure, while top-quality screen-printed decoration gives hollow pieces such as the teapot a smooth, matte surface. Small overlapping leaves form a golden mosaic that sometimes extends across the entire surface of the plate and other times appears only as a contour adorning the edges. The new design therefore picks up on the theme of structure and contrast already visible in Gropius’ original design and enhances the distinctive styling of the timeless classic that is among Rosenthal’s best-selling tableware series.
Cutlery collection is Twig New York's collaboration with the ceramic artist Hayoon Kim. Old cutleries inspired the collection Hayoon found in a small flea market in London. This collection with traces of olden times, is a fresh interpretation using the personal feelings and ideas of the artist. Cutlery collection puts embossed flatware shapes directly onto the plate, attempting to capture the vividness of a dining experience with loved ones. Embossed and textured cutleries are gracefully raised in the form of plates. The handles of the cups are in the shape of bent gold teaspoons. This collection is made with fine bone China and hand-painted 24K gold.
