French Home
French Home’s Jubilee tableware collection, made in South Africa, takes inspiration from the Zulu word Jabulani, meaning to rejoice or celebrate. Jubilee tableware is a celebration of the rich art of beading and weaving of the Zulu people. This handicraft has evolved into creating innovative high quality stainless-steel cheese knife and fork that are artistically hand decorated with beautifully colored art wire. A large portion of the profits from a Jubilee collection purchase goes back to the community of crafters who produce these products. This community is supported and empowered to become part of the global marketplace by Zulu women who use their cultural art heritage to craft this tableware collection at home, while looking after their families and earning an income. The handles of this stunning cheese knife and fork feature fresh, crisp, and cool shades of blue denim, bringing a vibrant energy to any table. This set comes paired with a gorgeous and versatile natural olive wood board eco-consciously crafted from the wood of olive trees that are no longer producing olives. Ideal for entertaining, putting together a delicious cheese board, and gift giving.
Michael Aram
The collection is inspired by the liveliness and vitality of the Japanese flower as it blossoms each Spring. Embodying the ideals of renewal, Michael is captivated by the intricate nature of the flower and the symbolism that it holds. Representing fragility and the beauty of life, the Cherry Blossom collection combines soft, muted pink tones with golden brass and white marble to add a delicacy that exhibits the pure beauty of nature. "I have always been fascinated with the Cherry Blossom and its symbolism in the cycle of life. I find the ephemeral beauty of the blossoms and the way they burst into bloom, however fleetingly, truly inspiring."

The Palm collection is inspired by the beauty of a windswept palm tree and the perfectly imperfect shapes of woven palm leaves and fallen fronds. The warm antique gold finish and the intricate sculpted textures exude comfortable luxury and graciousness. "I was having lunch with friends on a veranda overlooking the sea when I looked down to the lawn and saw a fallen palm frond. The leaves were all twisted and curled, yet they stood out magnificently against the otherwise perfect landscape. It made me think of the passage of time, and the bountiful gifts of the Palm, which provides everything from food to shelter."
The Mushroom collection is inspired by the whimsical magic of fairy tales. Humbly emerging from the earth, these fungi have been known for thousands of years to contain mystical powers. They have been used by shamans from cultures all over the world to procure enlightenment and celebrate the deep interconnectedness of life.
