Inspired by his years of living in Florida in proximity to the Everglades, Ian Thornton designed the Neilos floor lamp from metal in a mix of antique brass and oil-rubbed bronze finishes. The open-shaped base is fitted with flowing fronds that arc around the thin stem to make this a very graceful nature-inspired design. The gold floor lamp is topped with an off-white linen shade.
A nod to Americana during the colonial era, the Maxstoke floor lamp has an adjustable arm. The metal on the gold lamp is covered in an antique brass finish. Even the shape of the beige shantung shade harkens back to bygone times to bring this adjustable reading lamp extra charm.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this lamp - it seems to be real brass, not that cheap looking “brass finish” that everything seems to have these days. It is a beautiful genuine brass color and already has a slight patina that I think will age beautifully. I tried to capture the finish in the photos. The assembly was quick but really sturdy. It’s a really beautiful, high quality, well made lamp and I’m so glad I didn’t settle for a cheaper one which I almost did. This was definitely worth the price.. Lauren. The Natural Light
Starfall is a classically proportioned five-pointed double star. Gathered at a high waist of the lamp, five slender, tapered arms extend up as if reaching for the sky while five tapered legs splay downward, appearing to float just above a tabletop or floor. Slight and delicately crafted from metal, this lamp appears weightless and defies its media of steel sheeting. Finally, a gilded iron finish or a bronze finish is applied. Each lamp is fitted with a drum shade and a matching starburst finial.
To call this a "novelty" floor lamp does not do it justice. This is a top quality lamp in every respect. It is heavy, well made, and it looks awesome. Even the packaging it came in was top-notch.
