The Natural Light
Starfall is a classically proportioned five-pointed double star. Gathered at a high waist of the lamp, five slender, tapered arms extend up as if reaching for the sky while five tapered legs splay downward, appearing to float just above a tabletop or floor. Slight and delicately crafted from metal, this lamp appears weightless and defies its media of steel sheeting. Finally, a gilded iron finish or a bronze finish is applied. Each lamp is fitted with a drum shade and a matching starburst finial.
To call this a "novelty" floor lamp does not do it justice. This is a top quality lamp in every respect. It is heavy, well made, and it looks awesome. Even the packaging it came in was top-notch. The Kenyon one light floor lamp in burnished brass by Chapman & Myers was designed to be highly versatile in its application, at home in any interior. They have classic half-round pharmacy shades which are mounted to a cylindrical metal stem with a differentiated stepped detailing. The picture lights have an architecturally inspired medallion where the arms mount to the rectangular backplate.
Refined birch wood of the floor lamp, evokes sea-side tranquility. Complimented with a natural linen drum shade and fitted polished brass hardware to complete the coastal look.
