The House of Scalamandre
Palampores, or "Tree of Life" patterns, have their origins in India, where the exotic designs were hand painted and mordant dyed, and exported to Europe and England for use as elaborate bed hangings and curtains. Pondicherry, now offered as a wallcovering, the colorways remain true to their 90's origins, highlighting the iconic filigree pattern amidst the exotic tree of life motif. The colorways were developed in 2015, with the filigree omitted from the fabric design. These wallcoverings and colorways remain true to the fabric's original design. Intricately detailed flowers and lush foliage accompanied by whimsical birds and playful squirrels add to its timeless appeal. The vertically branching print is perfect for a cozy breakfast nook, kitchen, or powder room.

A high-quality collection inspired by earthy elements. A stylish angular geometric will be a great focal point in your home, whilst a textural stripe or a realistic linen style weave complements any of the designs in this collection. Japanese-inspired elements bring a calm and serene effect to the collection but are beautifully counterbalanced by more exotic options that reflect global cultures. Add some shimmer and sheen in the correct doses for an outstanding collection that will enhance any interior scheme.
