The House of Scalamandre
This design is part of the collection inspired by Carl and Karin Larsson, an iconic and beloved Swedish design family active in the 19th century. The design duo still inspires the whole world with their artistry, their home, and their way of living. When Carl was out traveling Karin found time to, in secrecy, create this beautiful weaving that was filled with loving symbols. She made it thinly woven and double-sided to allow the sunlight to come through and eye contact between the spouses from their separate bedrooms.
This large-scale, graphic pattern was inspired by the archways of a Moroccan riad, or courtyard. Digitally printed on a nonwoven ground, this signature half-drop design has an organic flow and geometric sensibility. Each colorway features a sophisticated tonal palette, perfect for a dramatic entryway or statement powder room.

Toile de Jouy, is mostly seen in classic homes and Moa fits just as beautifully in the modern home's nursery or living room. Exotic monkeys swinging between the palm trees are accompanied by turtles, peacocks, and beautiful flowers. A magnificent imaginary world, named after little Moa who was still in the womb when her mother drew the pattern.

This design is part of the collection inspired by Carl and Karin Larsson, an iconic and beloved Swedish design family active in the 19th century. The design duo still inspires the whole world with their artistry, their home, and their way of living. This hand-painted design adds beauty to your home. In 1899 Carl published an album with watercolor paintings from the family’s home and life at Lilla Hyttnäs. The album, called “ Huset I Solen” (The House in the Sun) became a huge success story and is said to be the very first media story from a Swedish home. This hand-painted wallpaper design captures the Swedish summer with all its splendor and blooming flowers, inviting you home for a Midsummer dance in the lush grass. This exquisitely crafted wallpaper comes in three color versions, this is what we call Swedish wallpaper art.
