Joanna Fret is digitally printed on a non-woven paper ground and entails a classic geometric trellis design with a drop shadow. Derived from the French term "treillage," this refined pattern traces its roots to the 12th century when a metal trellis motif served as a technique for cultivating grape vines in gardens. Joanna Fret is available in 14 fresh colorways, allowing for versatility in a multitude of projects. A timeless and chic design, Joanna Fret lends itself perfectly to spaces like hallways or bathrooms.

Combat on foot between contestants separated by a waist-height barrier was a popular sport in European courts during the 16th and 17th centuries. Our Saxony products are inspired by the patterning on combat armor commissioned for Christian I of Augsburg during the 16th Century. The gilded adornments cover the breastplate and additional detailed areas to give the work a sense of craftsmanship and regal delicacy. The design is embroidered on linen and cotton fabric to emulate the decorative ironwork pattern of the armor's breastplate. The fabric is paperbacked for the wall and its dimensional stitching evokes a sense of delicacy, which juxtaposes the inspirational iron artifact itself. This stately wallcovering would make a memorable grand foyer or an elegant dining room and coordinate with Saxony Embellished Tape. A light and refined all-over motif, like a faux-unicolor, inspired by the original work “Tous les visages qu’il aime se ressemblent” from 1935. A pencil illustration for an edition of his novel, this line drawing of faces is ever present in Cocteau’s work, because according to him “pour exprimer son âme, on n’a que son visage” which translates to, “to express your soul, you only have your face.”
Zoffany
This seductively undulating wallpaper pattern of rippling water was inspired by an original document from the Zoffany archive. Representative of the ancient Japanese art of marbling with ink on plain paper, its name translates to floating ink and this design is printed in barely-there colorways - ideal for creating calm room schemes.
