Kahler Gingerbread is a modern gingerbread house from Kahler, where the combination of a charming expression and handmade design traditions meets the warmth of the tealights creating both style and cosiness on the dark December evenings. The gingerbread house is a real Christmas cake classic that comes in different versions in many countries. If you have once tried to embark on the art of cake making yourself, you will know that it is not quite that easy – but with Kahler Gingerbread you are sure of being a success and to top it all off, featuring extra Christmas spirit in your home with the light flowing out of the hand-carved windows of the lighthouse. The lighthouses come in two varieties and have a brown, matte exterior similar to gingerbread dough. They are decorated with white, shiny decorations and have white roofs like glaze. As an important detail, the gingerbread houses are white glazed inside reflecting the warm light from the tealight to illuminate the surroundings outside the house.

With the ARC tealight holders and the rest of the ARC series, industrial designer Sebastian Holmback has really pushed the boundaries for how a contrasting design language can create an innovative product that also reflects the essence of Holmegaard's classic design history. The stylish ARC tealight holders are made from dark blue, hand-pressed glass and have a design that reflects the light beautifully. When the flame's pleasant glow spreads and meets the soft contours of the glass, it creates a small oasis of calm where you can simply surrender yourself to the beauty and magic of the mouth-blown glass. The tealight holders are sold in packs of two and have the same contrasting design as the ARC series' vases, flowerpots and lanterns, but the recognisable arcs are scaled down in size so that they fit perfectly with tealights. The top and bottom are the same diameter on all the designs in the ARC series, while the ring in the middle is slightly larger. This creates three parallel circles in beautiful symmetry. But even though the tealight holders only measure 5 cm in height and 7 cm in diameter, their curved shapes and sharp edges create a great effect when the flame is lit and viewed through the hand-pressed glass.
The medium-sized white Kähler tealight candle holder in the range is designed by Hans-Christian Bauer who drew his inspiration from old works by the world-famous artist, Svend Hammershøi. The entire range is united across color, shape, and material by the distinctive furrows. Use the tealight candle holder to spread warmth and coziness in the darkness of winter.
