This is a lovely, small piece but imperfect and returnable for three reasons (a) the edges are sharp enough to poke/cut a hand reaching in the middle of the night, (b) Unless you recess it into the wall, you'll have a funny looking box on the wall and ( c) while the dimmable light is a great feature, I would prefer no blue light as the night darkens. Love this reading lamp- dims, swivels and can be angled and directed for reading. It is also the most contemporary reading light I could find. Bought 2- one for each side of the bed.
