Wild style. Each of our surreally sized wicker blowfish pendants is weaved by a single artisan over the course of multiple days. After the reeds are hand-soaked and woven, an additional two days is spent trimming and sanding the sculpture by hand. Each piece is then coated with a clear lacquer to enhance the natural rattan coloring. Breezy and tropical in an entry or floating about your cocktail table, drop a single small pendant for seaside vibes in a powder room, or line a chic school above your counter or long dining table. When one travels around the world, shopping for inspiration for new materials, styles, and products, ideas for unconventional combinations can suddenly pop up. That is what happened with the pendant lamp Bond. Our design team decided to combine light and wood veneer. Ashwood turned out to give the best results in bending and emitted light color. Pendant Lamp Bond consists of interlocking strips of veneer, which gives it its textured surface. Bond comes in two forms; round and oval.

The veneers are selected to give the best wood grain effects when illuminated and all have been sourced from forests certified by the forest stewardship council - FSC. Nothing comes close to the beauty of these veneers as a diffusion material and no other veneer treatment gives strength and protection to the material without sacrificing the delicacy and subtleness that this natural material communicates when illuminated. Photographic reproductions of the veneer cannot be taken as a guideline for the actual color. Wood is a natural material, and gradual changes in tone may occur over time. Furthermore, if the lamps have been purchased at different times, there will be differences in color and tone, particularly in the light-colored veneers.
