A natural take on a classic design, the Baja defines beauty and balance in organic materials. The layered, three-point construction is crafted from wood and coconut beads. Both are in a natural wood finish. They are strung along an antique brass steel frame, showcasing a mélange of moody hues. Coconut shell talons are finished in a matching natural wash hang from the wooden bead strands and offer extra opacity to its airy aesthetic. Size scaled for illuminating a long dining table. A collection that reflects the extreme malleability of painted stainless steel mesh better than any other. The medium Nevo pendant lamp features those unrepeatable organic shapes characteristic of the collection designed by Arturo Alvarez. Its handmade curves make each of the lamps unique and different from all the others. They are volumes that seem to be alive, in constant evolution and movement, both for their shape and for the folds through which the light spreads. This is one of the most extensive collections of the brand, including pendants, table lamps, wall lamps and cascading compositions.
Pendant is handmade in the Philippines from galvanized iron, a malleable material which allows artisans to weave innovative shapes.
The Tairagai pendant was designed by Ian Thornton with an aim to highlight the shell material on the inside of the shade. Fitted underneath the open dome-like wrought iron ring in a bronze gold finish, the shells are laminated in place. The illumination generated by the integrated LED light source washes over the shells to make them gleam and accent the darker tones in the shells.
