Three discs of Spanish alabaster with smoothly rounded edges, each incrementally wider than the one proceeding it, make Gatsby a glamorous stand-out. Taking a tip from the Danish mid-century design playbook, we’ve stacked each alabaster disc at an equal distance from each other along three metal rods. The resulting space between them allows light to escape in oblique ways. This means glare-free light both shines down through the porous alabaster as well as seeps out from behind a glossy opal diffuser in all directions, making Gatsby an ambient triumph.
