Ian Thornton says of his design of the chandelier that he wanted to create a large chandelier with a nautical theme. There is a lot of texture to the chandelier which gives it a nautical look. That’s not the look I’m going for but I think it will look good in a toned down room. The size is great for above my kitchen table which seats 6. The reason I gave it 4/5 stars is because the center pole is loose and I’m worried it may break.. Jennifer.
