Nature meets technology in the Heracleum III chandelier by Bertjan Pot. This airy LED lamp is inspired by a flowering plant of the same name that can grow as high as 5 meters. The white leaves in the Heracleum III chandelier ramify from one branch, creating a very technical, natural structure thanks to a technique of coating conductive layers called Electrosandwich by Marcel Wanders studio. The luminaire is dimmable by using an either internally mounted or externally placed 1-10V dimmer switch. 1-10V is a dimming system widely used in some parts of the world, for example in North America. This method will need its wiring. The dimming quality is perfect, without flicker, the range can be limited and the luminaire cannot be dimmed to off. To turn off the luminaire a switch is needed.

Coppélia comes to life in a whirl of flowing motion and sparkling light. With a graceful sense of wonder, a beautiful mechanical doll appears to magically come to life in the famous ballet Coppélia. In the performance the ballerina traces, with sinuous movements, a delicate after-image in the air, which inspires the fluid motion in the design of Miyake’s Coppélia suspended lamp. The graceful dance, staged by the three-dimensionally crossed wire structure, leads the spectator to dozens of glowing LED lights, which define the contour and the magical glow of Miyake’s interpretation of a classic chandelier.
