Circular suspension conveys the nostalgic expression traced back to round table, which symbolizes ”reunion” in traditional Chinese dining. Rotatable lamp shade embedded in cutting-edge design of hollow circles with glare-free LED lighting, the CRI 90 softened light can impressively create practical as well as ambient light. Occasionally light distribution is allowed due to rotatable structure of each shade. Upside or downward, let your imagination run loose and allow the fun to begin.
Uplight Group
The inspiration for the Pilke came from traditional Finnish shingle work, but Tuukka Halonen upgraded the design to a modern structure made with today’s state-of-the-art technology. Repetition of plywood parts at the right angle creates beautiful subtle friction to light. No glue or screws are used. Pilke is a unique, decorative light fixture, giving natural warm light through its wooden structure. The word Pilke is a Finnish word for Twinkle. FLOS
A transparent hand-blown cylinder, surrounded on both top and bottom by discrete LED technology, is the foundation of this product. The fixtures built from these units form columns of light at varying heights that illuminate at the intersection between each module. Configurable as a hanging or standing lamp, it features additional components that allow for numerous options. The cylindrical body is available at a low and high height, and a dome- or cone-shaped head can be selected if a more direct light source is desired. Dimming capabilities can be configured in the power supply unit within the ceiling rose, or as a pedal-operated panel on the power cord. The inspiration behind the design is inspired by night owls, Noctambule by Konstantin Grcic features a transparent body that almost blends into a room when unlit, but makes its presence known when it illuminates at night.
