The dripped pattern on the surface of the Inoue Vase was inspired by the art of Imperial Japan, particularly the rusticity of Zen ideals that arose during the Kamakura period. Made of porcelain, the black and off-white vessel is subtly rough to the touch and has a matte appearance. The gallery-worthy vase is hand-thrown and hand-decorated so the patterns will vary slightly.
The Green Plisse Vase is attractive in a lovely hue of olive green. The deep furrows that swirl around the bulge in its form tighten and straighten as they flow to the top and the bottom in a uniformity that can only be machine-made. The most surprising thing about this handsome vessel is that it is made of 3D-printed porcelain, an ancient material you might not expect to be so amenable to such a contemporary process.

The Happy 80's vase set is a throwback to the decade when bold, vibrant, and eclectic ruled the stylistic spectrum - from interior design to fashion. Made of porcelain, the glazes on the exteriors of these vessels will vary because they are applied while the vases are spinning. This brings the two works of art a textural feel. The insides of the vases are covered in a black glaze, and the shapes of the vases reflect the nuances of the decade after which they are named.

Fresh and on-trend, our collection of Happy Vases, which includes the Happy 60 Tiered Vase, is a reminder of the carefree times during the 1960s. The artistry employed to create these terracotta beige decorative vases is called a wax-resist technique. All of the surface areas that the artisan decides will be left unglazed are covered by wax so that the glazing material cannot give it the sheen that comes with it. Though the beige and white pattern is our nod to the ultra-60s, the shapes of the decorative accents have been modernized with cleaner lines.
AERIN
Inspired by the shapes of an Austrian Art Deco glass and a vintage lamp, the Delmara cachepot perfectly enhances potted plants and bountiful flower arrangements. This piece is slip-cast in a faceted silhouette with a wide opening. The hand-applied glaze in a brushed pattern has an artisanal quality, which is further embellished with a gilded rim.
