A modern twist to a classic shape, amphoras were used as early as the bronze age. Elongating the shape and mixing it with fine Portuguese ceramic brings modernity to a shape steeped in history.

The product is a mid-century modern interpretation of the stunning monolith face sculptures on Easter Island that brings function and style into the home while paying homage to Polynesian culture. A dramatic statement piece to display on a side table or credenza, the vase will be a focal point of any room that will inspire conversation and excitement.
The Villa Greek key urn is a true embodiment of Italian craftsmanship. Artisans employ the age-old technique of hand-packing clay into a mold through a process known as calco. Each mold is left to dry for 2-3 days, during which the clay naturally shrinks, making it easy to remove the mold. Following this, the urn undergoes firing in a kiln at 950 degrees, and a second firing ensues, adding a white glaze finish. The result is a stunning piece that beautifully blends tradition and elegance.
Jonathan Adler
Inspired by Dora Maar, the French photographer, poet, and painter best known for being a lover and muse of Pablo Picasso. Jonathan throws the models for the Muse's vessels and then substitutes their signature geometric relief patterns with body parts—faces, breasts, lips—to create a surreal style. Each piece is made from unglazed matte porcelain to accentuate the forms and is inspired by their favorite artists' muses.
Our iconic I-Scream Vase (featuring flawless, fluid lines and an Elizabethan ruff sleeve) just got another delicious detail—a lined cone dripping with gleaming, real gold glamour. Fab with a single rose or peony and just what your dining table's been begging for—a vase with a powerful presence, but low enough not to block sightlines across the table. Place one per setting or group several to create a fresh centerpiece. They're also a sweet addition to your bedside table and a perfectly playful hostess gift.
I was very pleased with the quality of this unique piece. It is whimsical yet classy, reflecting influence from both art nouveau and modern design eras. . Joanne. Richmond, VA. 2020-08-22 02:15:43
