With exquisite craftsmanship, we have rescued the scrap pieces of teak wood that are hand assembled to create the Teak Root Side Table from being one of nature’s finest castaways. Though the shape is simple, the complexity of the parts that make up the whole illustrates the talent of our craftspeople. When a hint of texture is desired, this wood table will bring it; it is also fitting for a number of design styles, including a contemporary, modern farmhouse, and industrial chic. There are a number of furnishings and accessories in the Teak Root collection.

The sculptural design of this table is inspired by the stark beauty of a California Manzanita tree. Textured gold branches rise up to hold the removable tray top, finished with a hand-applied porcelain-like enamel on the metal top. Beautiful as it is, the enamel is extremely durable and helps protect against spills and scratches. The overall effect is like jewelry for a room. Each of our creations is designed in our San Francisco studio. Master craftsmen using the centuries-old techniques of sand casting create the original mold and skilled artisans hand create every piece, with pride, in our family-owned factory.
