Chamcha wood is a fast-growing tree that is prized for its richly figured grain and distinct sap line. It is characteristic for these trees to grow crooked and with low and heavy branching. This allows for some of the most interesting and organic forms, which we cherish at the Phillips collection. The mirror mimics what Nature has already given us with freeform woodcuts adding personality to this full-length mirror. This piece is crafted from natural solid wood. The color and character of wood grain may vary and natural cracks and holes may be present adding a unique character to your piece.

Love love love. Lisa. Henderson, NV. 2023-02-22 17:43:15
If we described the Pebble family of products as stacked stones, we’d give the wrong impression, as these furnishings are not made of rocks; they are created from long lengths of playful shapes that are reminiscent of river rocks in contour only. These are created when organically shaped pieces of mirror are encased in metal in a brushed brass finish, as is the case with the Pebble mirror. The collection also includes an end table, table lamps, and floor lamps, each of which reflects the ethos that Phillips Collection personifies: modern organic.
Stunning statement mirror - very heavy and substantial which is just what I was looking for. Hardware needs improvement, though. We rigged our own hardware as the included bracket bends from the weight of it and then it pulls away from the wall when hanging.. Linda. Greenwich, CT. 2022-01-10 23:07:37

These mirrors are super cool -- each one is different and they make a HUGE statement when hung in large groups (6 or more). They are heavy and solid.. Courtney. Lynn Haven, FL. 2023-04-17 11:24:04
Our convergence mirror is cast in artisan-grade resin and dressed in shimmering gold leaf. Generous in scale, the mirror measures nearly five feet in diameter and a foot off the wall. The texture that results when the finish is applied is achieved when our talented artisans rub the surface with gold—it doesn’t seep fully into the deepest crevices so a light/dark shadow play brings the gold mirror extra life. A design move of note is how the piece of mirror is placed asymmetrically, which creates added tension—a favorite sleight-of-hand that interior designers employ to add interest to a room. This makes for a dimensional wall piece that is really a showstopper.
Unfortunately, while the design is outstanding, the finish on mirror is more of a bright gold than a muted brass tone. Thus, we will be returning the mirror. Vickie. Naples, FL. 2023-04-23 09:47:47
This sitting figure cross-cut mirror is a round decorative mirror made of chamcha wood ornamented with a whimsical metal figure in a bronze finish. The Atlas collection reflects the ethos that Phillip's Collection personifies—modern organic—and has a storied namesake. In Greek mythology, Atlas was the Titan god of endurance whom Zeus tasked with holding up the celestial heavens for eternity. We’ve taken a piece of chamcha wood that would have been one of nature’s castaways and made it into an elemental design statement. This piece is crafted from natural solid wood. The color and character of wood grain may vary, adding a unique character to your piece.

For the lover of asymmetrical design elements that bring tension into space, the Rock Pond Modern & Contemporary Accent Mirror is a shoo-in. It’s as if the molten metal has been poured around the mirror to create the frame, frozen in a ruddy configuration as it cooled, but the decorative mirror is made of composite that has been covered in a finish. We also offer a wider version of this mirror, the slightly different profiles making them perfect for pairing or for hanging in a gallery wall installation. The Rock Pond mirrors are also available in a finish, each of which reflects the ethos that Phillips Collection personifies: modern organic.

The combination of gleaming mirror and warm wood make the River Mirror a contrast in materials. We’ve designed the decorative mirror so that it is as much a piece of wall art as it is a looking glass. The panels of chamcha wood that flow along the top and bottom of the round mirror have a beautiful waviness to the grain that Mother Nature is so adept at achieving. This is one of our pieces that illustrates how we use nearly every length of the wood we harvest when we rescue them from being one of nature’s finest castaways. The River Mirror reflects the ethos that Phillips Collection personifies: modern organic.

This is not considered a defect.

Lightweight, with the appearance of real patinated metal, this oval mirror is available in three finishes and can be hung either horizontally or vertically.
Lovely shape and size but what I thought was a mostly black frame was really more reddish rust color.. Patty. New York, NY. 2024-07-22 15:53:57
