Very finely carved and gilded wall mirror in the manner of Grinling Gibbons with an undulating surround of fine Rococo scrolls and floral ornament crowned with a stylized fleur-de-lys. Inspired by an original of c.1700. Plain mirror glass.
A modern take on a classic scroll mirror. Finished in one of our most popular washed finishes, the Bywater has the flexibility to be both rustic and formal. I have used this mirror in both cottage and castle, and I have never been disappointed with the result.

Can you believe my excitement when the clever carvers, who dedicate hours of their time to their trade, came up with this interpretation of a Bywater mirror for our spring collection? The two finishes of off-white and light acacia go to exaggerate the beauty of this complicated carving. We would love to see these used as a pair on each side of a magnificent four-poster bed in a great country bedroom.
What a great take on traditional meeting contemporary. Their mirror is made of acacia wood layered one on top of the other to give the effect of a vast aero-plane engine. The design in itself gives the whole piece a great strength. I see it working well in rustic barns and contemporary beach houses.
