This simple straight-line wood side table was used as a stool in the old times. It is made of solid elm at the beginning of the 20th century. It is constructed of mortise and tenon joinery and has a flush top. Solid structure. It shows age-proper shrinkage cracks, lines, and wood imperfections.

• Condition: Solid construction, age-proper lines, dots, patina, faded painting, and imperfection. Wear and tear consistent with age and use.

With hand-tied double-layered caning, intricate hand-carved features, and metal accents reminiscent of French antiques, the Paris bench is ultimately timeless and classic. The Bungalow 5 driftwood finish is created with durable and sustainably-farmed Cape Lilac Mahogany from Indonesia. Its grain—similar to oak—is wire brushed to emphasize the whirls and patterns. Then, the wood is stained with a background color and rubbed with cerusing to contrast each ridge, creating a coastal finish.
