A play of graceful light overhead, string lights by Michael Anastassiades adds a streamlined sophistication to your home or office. Providing diffused light, the suspension lamp features a matte black varnished die-cast aluminum body coated with clear soft-touch varnish. The optical diffuser is opal Pc (polycarbonate). The suspension system is 12- or 22- meters, with Para-aramid synthetic fiber, reinforced coaxial cable. This fixture should be relaxed and then re-tightened approximately 24-hours after installation. Note: String Lights should be connected to an on/off switch. Dimming capability is only possible for electronics with an optical mechanism, and can be operated either via an app or by using the sensor on the luminaire. Important: This item requires the separate purchase of either a wall/ceiling connection canopy or base power supply with a floor switch. Please select the appropriate model/color combination when making your purchase. The on/off switch is electronic with an optical mechanism. On/off and dimmer controlled directly from the switch or operated using Bluetooth Android and Apple remote control application. The inspiration behind the design: "Every time I take the train, I sit by the window and watch the series of perfectly parallel strings connecting the pylons, as we move at high speed,” explains designer Michael Anastassiades. “I love the way they divide the landscape and how spheres are occasionally beaded through the wires at random intervals. I also love how, in Mediterranean cultures, strings of lights are stretched between posts to mark an outdoor space for an evening party in a village square. And finally, I love how human ingenuity works around problems created by everyday things in the house (like switches and power points) that others have chosen to position where we don’t want them."
WAC Landscape Lighting
Installs in single-gang deep weatherproof junction box (sold separately) on the low voltage side of a magnetic transformer include a dimmer plate, gasket, wire nuts, mounting screws, and instruction sheet. The dimming range is 100% to 10% and a simple dial provides smooth and continuous dimming operation.

Data is communicated to Colorscaping fixtures through the 12-2 low voltage landscape cable using PLC (power line communication) technology that sends data signals between the power supply and Colorscaping fixtures, eliminating the need to run secondary wires that can be found in competing smart or color changing landscape systems. A wifi-powered WAC Colorscaping power supply can control all fixtures with no wifi range limitation to your fixtures as long as the power supply is within the wifi range (Cat45 port is available on the power supply for a more reliable hardwired internet connection). The WAC Colorscaping power supply features two shared power banks that can be used to power both Colorscaping and basic 12V landscape lighting fixtures on a single system, activating complete smart controls for Colorscaping fixtures and basic smart features for non-Colorscaping fixtures, including timer/scheduler, on/off, and brightness control (note: does not make non-Colorscaping fixtures color tunable). The WAC Colorscaping power supply has multiple 12V taps that can autodetect voltage drop and send a guaranteed balanced 12V to each landscape lighting fixture on the system. The WAC Colorscaping power supply has 16-quick adjust color settings that you can interface with to toggle and test your Colorscaping fixtures easily.

WAC Lighting
This class 2 and class P, UL and cUL listed enclosed electronic power supply is the perfect solution for wiring multiple low voltage fixtures. Class 2 power supplies are intrinsically safer because they are categorized to allow no greater than 5 amps of current to be drawn on each compartment. The enclosure cover is easy to remove. The power supply has knockouts on three sides with clips for line voltage wiring. Secondary wiring for class 2 power supplies does not require conduit-sheathed cable or clamp wiring techniques. This power supply has a low minimum load requirement of 6W to allow the use of LED products. May be dimmed using a TRIAC or electronic low-voltage dimmer.
